Park Lane Bed and Breakfast is an ideal place to stay, we are:
- 5 minute walk will take you to the bus stop with buses 510, 308 and 309 going to Stansted Airport and Endeavour House.
- Main line station at Bishop's Stortford is a 12 minute walk away where you can get a travel card to London which will cover the underground and buses in the capital. This is a 35 minute journey.
- 15 minutes walk into town which has shops, restaurants, swimming pool, bowling alley, cinema, gym etc.
- 15 minute walk to the Coach & Horses pub which serves good food.
- Walking distance of Hockerill Anglo-European College and Bishop's Stortford College
- Should you wish to visit Cambridge, it will take just 20 minutes in the opposite direction to London by train.
- Audley End mansion is about 12 miles away and can be reached by train or bus it is a English Heritage owned property and makes a lovely day out. They also hold evening
concerts in the summer.
- Hatfield Forest, which is owned by the National Trust is just 3 miles away.
- Duxford war museum is one of the best museums of its kind, full of nearly
every plane you can think of and hangers full of memorabilia, they hold some
of the best air shows during the summer. Duxford can be reached by train,
bus or private car about 20 minutes on the M11.
- Not forgetting Newmarket Race Track for some great racing days out and
evening concerts during the summer.
